The Transcontinental is one of Brisbane’s most exciting event venues located on George St, Brisbane. Equipped with multiple function rooms, each with its own unique style & personality, including our Public and Craft Bars, The Dining Hall, Back Deck and Platform Bar. They can cater from 30 guests sit down to 380 for a stand up cocktail style party, or a full venue soiree of up to 1100.
The Transcontinental was reimagined with a contemporary décor that spoke to its rich history. Ceramic tiles, exposed brick, cast-iron balconies, an imperial staircase and Victorian detailing’s are just a few examples of this vision. To ensure extreme versatility with their customer’s requirements, the venue was fully equipped with state of the art audio and visual equipment.
